We invite you to be part of the first annual Virginia Farm-to-Table Harvest Celebration taking place on Saturday, October 25th from 4 - 8 p.m. at On Sunny Slope Farm in Rockingham. The harvest celebration gathering will uplift the people and partnerships building a healthier food system from the soil up. This educational and celebratory evening will bring together farmers, food system leaders, educators, health professionals, and community members to enjoy a locally sourced farm-to-table dinner, share stories, highlight innovations in soil health, and cultivate joy and connection.
The Virginia Farm-to-Table Harvest Celebration will be hosted by Virginia Cooperative Extension, the Virginia Soil Health Coalition, the VT Center for Food Systems and Community Transformation, and community partners, and be held on the historic Sunny Slope Farm in Rockingham. The evening will include an optional farm tour and blend good food, music, farmer storytelling, and interactive displays to honor the collective work of Virginia’s soil health and farm-to-table champions.
